it's been very rainy in alaska this past week. it's very relaxing to have my window open and listen to the rain as i do work on my computer, however, i haven't gotten out much because of it. on thursday, i have a flight to hawaii. i'm very excited!! i need warm weather and to see some of my friends again. i used to live there, haha. while i am happy to be visiting, tourism has had many negative impacts on the natives that live there. if you are ever in hawaii, support the local businesses!! i will write more about this subject when i'm there because i have lots of thoughts i want to share!

i made tons of progress on the site today!! yesterday i uploaded the guestbook, so if you are visiting please leave a message!!! i also uploaded the gallery. i have so many photos that i can't wait to upload and share!

yesterday, i went to the alaska wildlife conservation center in girdwood. if you ever have a chance to visit, i definitley recommend you go! the awcc is a rehibilitation center, so any animals that end up there get released as soon as they can! they care for tons of native animals. my favorite to see are the sitka black tail deer and the porcupines, haha. when you are there, the rangers give tons of information. they will host q & a's and when it is feeding time, you are welcome to watch as they describe the animals diet. it is a great experience! yesterday, i got to talk one on one with a ranger about porcupines! she taught me about porupine bone structure! did you know that a porcupine's teeth never stop growing? their teeth sit so far back in the upper jaw that it is almost impossible to get out. i'm hoping to go back in august!!

a few updates!! i added a writing hub and i'm so excited to put my reviews and other excerpts on there! this weekend was a blast (haha, get it cause fourth of july) i got to watch the fireworks with my boyfriend and a few friends. it was nice getting to see so many people i knew gathered in one area, haha. on the fifth, i went shopping for decor (got lots of spider-man stuff) and then i watched hail mary. it was super good!! #weloveryangosling

hi!! it has been a very long first day of coding but i got two pages started!! i wish i could say completed but i am much too tired for that, haha. currently it is 1:46 in the morning. i'm pretty sure i started this project at noon yesterday. i hope to dedicate a little bit of time to this site everyday until school starts. coding has always been a huge interest of mine and i'm glad i'm starting to get back into it. i have lots of plans for this little site. i'm getting tired just thinking about it, haha. tomorrow, i plan to make two more pages; i think i want to make a gallary and an about me.
